Project Description
Lauren is a Principal Product Designer with over 20 years of experience at companies including Amazon, Nordstrom, and Disney. For her website relaunch, she needed new headshots tailored precisely to her site's layout and UI constraints.
Pre-Production and Strategy
We organized the shoot using three specific Pinterest mood boards to ensure alignment before firing a flash
The Red Setup: Focused on high-contrast styling and bold color blocking for the primary site assets.
The Gradient Setup: Planned a pastel gradient background to match her website color scheme, using gelled lighting adjusted to protect natural skin tones.
The Composition Board: Analyzed specific poses that could handle the heavy horizontal cropping required for her desktop hero banner and About Me page.
Production and Deliverables
During our studio session, we captured two completely different lighting setups. The final delivery consisted of three edited, high-resolution images tailored directly to her web design framework, which are now live on her site.
